On May 10, 2022, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners, acting as the Community Redevelopment Agency Board (CRA), approved a Resolution recommending approval to the BCC an amendment to the Collier County Community Redevelopment Area Plan.
At the April 7, 2022 Collier County Planning Commission (CCPC) Meeting ICR staff presented the Proposed Amendment to the Community Redevelopment Plan. The CCPC Board approved the proposed plan.
At the February 16, 2022 CRA Meeting staff presented the Proposed Amendment to the Community Redevelopment Plan. Board approved plan with two changes.
In 2000, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the Community Redevelopment Plan. The plan includes a section on the Bayshore Gateway Triangle Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) and the Immokalee CRA. In 2019, the Community Redevelopment Plan was amended to update the Bayshore Gateway Triangle section of the plan.
In February 2021, CRA staff began the public input process to update the Immokalee section of the Community Redevelopment Plan. The Plan update will provide goals, policies, and capital projects for the Community Redevelopment Agency to implement. On March 31, 2021 a Community Kick-off was held.
On 10/21/21 a draft copy of the Redevelopment Plan Section 4 language was presented for review and comments. All residents and property owners were invited to participate in the planning process. A Community Public Meeting was held on 12/14/21.
