John Dunnuck brings a long resume of public service and facilities expertise to this new, combined role as Executive Director of Facilities and Community Redevelopment Areas.  Before returning to Collier County earlier this year, John previously served as Community Development Administrator and Public Services Administrator for Collier County in the early 2000s.  In the interim, he has also directed capital projects with the South Florida Water Management District, managed procurement for the City of Naples, served as Senior Vice President for Finance and Operations at Broward College, and was the Deputy Director of Facilities Development & Operations for Palm Beach County.

 Christie Betancourt, a lifelong resident of Immokalee, Florida, was promoted to Assistant Director of the Collier County Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) in July 2024. She has been the Manager of the Immokalee CRA since 2015 and brings a remarkable 24 years of service to Collier County, including 16 years with the CRA and 8 years with Parks & Recreation. 

During her tenure with the Immokalee CRA, Ms. Betancourt has made significant contributions to the growth and development of the organization. Beyond her administrative responsibilities, she is deeply committed to assisting local community members with grant programs and navigating governmental processes.

Yvonne moved to Naples in 1973 and loves living in SW Florida.  She joined the Immokalee CRA Team in September 2020.  Yvonne graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a master’s degree in business, University of Central Florida, Orlando, with a bachelor of arts degree in pre-law/political science and received an associate of science degree in real estate management from Edison Community College, Fort Myers.  Yvonne has over 23 years sales experience including key roles with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, Bonita Bay Group, St. Joe Land Company, Beazer Homes and WCI.  Previously, she was a senior real property specialist for Collier County government for seven years and has also been an International Right-of-Way Association member for eight years.  Ms. Blair invites you to contact her at any time with questions or for information about the Community Redevelopment Agency.
